LED lights light up the Olympic Park

Nearly two-weeks into the games and Team GB boasts 23 gold, 13 silver and 14 bronze medals and sits a proud third overall in the medals table today!

Channel Safety Systems, although not directly participating, are delighted to have contributed to the 2012 Olympic Games this year by providing the Olympic Press and Broadcast Centres with over 1,700 of Channel’s Grove LED Emergency Twin Spotlights. These luminaries have been installed to sit proudly in the array of buildings that are located in each of the designated Olympic venues in and out of London.

The Grove is just one of the extensive ranges of emergency lighting LED products that are available from Channel Safety Systems and has proven results to deliver our clients value for money; with operating costs, in most instances, less than one sixth of standard fittings. The Grove is an advanced 3 hour non-maintained LED twin flood emergency light. It can be mounted in any orientation and with 120 LEDs running at 20W per fitting it delivers high level efficiency with low energy costs. The robust, yet light weight construction of the Grove is ideal for any building development.
