Title		PURCHASE LEDGER
Description		A vacancy has arisen in our busy finance team. Hours:35 per week, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday, 9.00 am - 4.00 pm Friday plus two 8.30 starts. Additional work may be required at certain times of the year, e.g. month end and year end. The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and enjoy being part of a team environment. They must possess good computer skills and be able to use their initiative in problem solving. Duties: To ensure all invoices and payments are processed correctly. Maintain purchase ledger and perform month and year end procedures. Undertake bank reconcilliations and processing of cheques, direct debits and standing orders ensuring adequate back up is filed for all payments. Experience working in purchase ledger essential.
