The Channel Radio Fire Alarm System has been developed to provide all the features and benefits of a fully Addressable Fire Alarm System - with minimum wiring. With the exception of the main control panel and booster panels which require a standard mains supply, all the ancillary components such as Detectors, Call Points and Sounders are entirely self contained, and are powered by their own primary batteries. The use of sophisticated microprocessor circuitry, coupled with the absence of wiring, enables the high capacity control units to be compactly housed and simple to operate. Capable of linking up to 3000 trigger devices and sounders, the systems are extremely versatile, as well as capable of being used in the largest of applications. Ideally suited for large and small sites, the Channel systems provide maximum flexibility regarding upgrading and or changing system design, cosmetic solutions to sensitive applications together with a cost effective, value for money installation for the end user. The integrity of the Radio System is maintained by the frequent transmission of verifying signals and the complete system has been tested by a fully approved DTI test house, and an operating license granted by the DTI to the specification MPT 1344.
