As safety products specialists within Emergency Lighting, Security Lighting, Door Entry Systems, CCTV, Fire Detection and Assistance products, Channel’s knowledge, strength of service and attention to detail have earned us multiple accreditations from the industries’ leading regulatory bodies.

Within the Fire Detection Industry, Channel Safety Systems are members of the Fire Industry Association (FIA), British Approvals for Fire Equipment (BAFE). Within the Emergency Lighting Industry, Channel are members of the Industry Committee for Emergency Lighting (ICEL), the Lighting Industry Federation (LIF) and the Lighting Industry Association (LIA).

The company has its own directly employed team of qualified service and maintenance engineers covering the UK (except Northern Ireland) in fully liveried company vehicles. Some of our contract clients are amongst the most prestigious names in London and HM Government, UK commerce and industry. We can undertake a turnkey Fire/Emergency Lighting project from Risk Assessment to installation and through to subsequent breakdown and maintenance services. For the provision of maintenance and technical services the company is a UK Government pre-qualified contractor/consultant, certified by Construction Line.

In addition, Channel Safety Systems are an affiliated manufacturer to the Electrical Distributors Association (EDA) and are ISO 9001 registered under BSI UKAS.
